My boy attended batch 1 selection camp. Not sure which group he was in. They were given some materials such as ice cream sticks, satay sticks, rubber bands and A4 paper to individually design a catapult to shoot ping pong ball into a basket. Then they took turn to share their design with groupmates, after which students had to come to a consensus on which design to represent their group and pitch it to the teachers. My boy's group chose his and another boy's design n infused both. My boy had fun. I think this selection camp offered them invaluable experience. ๐
Can you share more about the actual task? 3rd Aug group seemed to have many sub tasks.phtthp\" post_id=\"1926254\" time=\"1564824950\" user_id=\"35251:
That means the 2 project were different. Last Saturday Performance Task project was to design a ping pong ball
For your son's team : all 4 boys, come from different primary school ?
Anyone else project, different from ours, since there are 500 students, from 4 batches, attended Round 2 test ? -
Hi guys, I would like to know whether 245 is a decent score for someone who is trying to appeal to SST. I also would like to know whatโs the usual range for the PSLE score that SST is looking fof

I did not get in through DSA. If someone can provide me with the information, it would be much appreciated. Thanks
You may refer to the following link (SST SIE 2018):

You may refer to the following link regarding the details of SIE 2018 (SST did not state the minimum entry requirements for SIE):
https://www.sst.edu.sg/supplementary-intake-exercise-sie-2018/
However, the applicants need to submit P4, P5 overall results, P6 prelim results, PSLe results slip,
CCA/other achievements/testimonials (if any).
You may check the school website in early November 2019 for the online application (SIE). -

Yes, 245 is a pretty good score to enter SST. 24x onwards, SST likely to consider

The rest will depend on the actual interview itself, what u going to say to the interviewers, during Supplementary intake (November 2019)
I like your peserverance attitude for SST. You never give up !
It is very very good. Although you only such a young 12 years old child, but I really like, marvel and respect your un-daunting \"never-say-die\" very keen learning atttitude in entering SST. With such an excellent learning attitude, you will go very far in your future endeavour (attempt), because it shows your resilence, fighting spirit to continue learn and study at SST. All the very best, to your PSLE. I sincerely wish u the very best, to enter SST and scale to greater heights, soar like a bird in the sky, because that is where your passion and interests truly lie. You will go far, child -
Although giving an estimate T score will draw a good focus to try for Post PSLE selection, but in fact there are more that will likely to be considered during the interview. And only the school will know what they are looking for.
In SST, there is a holistic approach to learning besides just looking at the grades. If u are successful in your application, u will soon find out.
All the best and hope u will be shortlisted for the interview due to your enthusiasm. -
Did anyone call the school to check on the status?
