Is DSA STEAM something new for NJC? When did STEAM come about? Previously was it under Academics?

I think it is new this year. I heard NJC did offer CO under STEAM (but I don’t know how many).

STEAM is Not new for NJC (2019), because

last year (2018 ), born 2006 batch, STEAM already existed. One mom (a forummer) said last year (2018), it was STEAM, not fall under Academic domain

STEAM domain faced highly intense competition this year, because not only students from local primary schools applied for DSA (STEAM) , but International students (foreigner status), too.
If one read DSA website, one would have noticed that DSA is open to foreigners too, non SPR

only the school staff know how many COs / Wait-lists, had been offered, to both (local and to International) students

venue : NJC Boarding school

time : 8 am to 11 am

attire : primary school PE attire

If one stay sharp & alert, can also count roughly, how many students have been offered STEAM (CO / Wait-list), by interacting, mix around with fellow newcomers (2020 Sec 1 freshmen) there, on that Saturday morning

A lot of parents are keen (eager) to find out too, Total this year :

I had asked one parent, whose child had dsa into NJC last year (2018 Batch, born 2006) under STEAM domain.

The mom (a forummer) clarified that her child was offered STEAM CO, last year (2018). The mom clarified that it wasn't offered Academic domain, last year (2018)

Perhaps, the format of the Tests structure differed this year, from last year batch, hence leading or causing people to think otherwise that STEAM actually started this year (2019), same time as the online DSA portal started
