Bad Experience: Nation Tampines Branch
(My 1st time hire FDW)
In July 19, I engaged Nation and selected an Myanmar fresh FDW from them.
The FDW initially agreed to take care kids, cooking and do household yet she was not performing her job without supervision. She don’t even cook dinner for my kids if I come home late. The last 2 days she worked she only cook instant noodles as my kid’s dinner which was after I rang home and discovered she was not cooking and left my kid staving. The next 2 days drama show started, she claimed that she wanna left because she cannot take care kids. What a lame excuse!
Since day 1 till the day The Maid insisted to go back Nation (about after 3 weeks), Zhun zhun few days after she was brought to issue thumbprint by Nation agent. they never handover FDW’s passport Nor WP to me throughout the period as if they knew it is unnecessary.
As at today, The Maid still parked under my name and address under MOM record now even she has went back to Nation 2 weeks.
When I requested salary in lieu due to FWD immediate termination, the agent initially claimed that MOM rule not allowed employer to do so. Change their statement can refund salary in lieu after I showed them MOM reply email. And, change their statement again asked me go civil court their agency not responsible for salary in lieu when I went Nation to select replacement maid today.
I was initially happy to engage Nation and planned to train and get a ready maid before my newborn come in Sep. Yet, it is mid August now. FDW gone after 3 weeks, delay replacement maid for me (last month still claimed that I should quickly get a maid don’t overtired but actually it is the APS Maid gonna expiring without employer).
now, my EDD is due after 3 weeks and I don’t even know when I can clear all these shits. Most unfair thing is I still have to fork out a sum of money for new FDW even the fault is totally not on me and my family!! Felt cheated!! -
Yea they are. All kind of services and products have Low to high end price. Ultimately I feel that we Employer should be satisfied with the services provided.

Hi Yu Xuan, i hope im not too late in replying this post. My maid is from them. If you want advice of the agency itself, I would say they are pretty great. Patience with you and not pushy. However, If you want advice on the maid they bring in, I'm no expert since i've only had 1 maid from them. I guess maids are just pure luck if u get a good ones (Or bad). I want to tell you \"not to go to DANS SERVICES\" at any cost. I have had two filipino maids from them. Both the maids were terrible. 1st one had affairs in Manilla itself (their lodging camp). The agent knew it and she told me nothing about it and instead said she is a very nice girl, etc. We paid a lot to get her as she was a new maid (not transfer). After she came here, she was pregnant in 2 months. She took abortion pills without my knowledge and was bleeding. I saw that and got very worried. and had to immediately send her back home. 2nd maid was a transfer maid. The agent told me that she is very nice, etc and this maid was horrible. Always lieing, multiple boy friends, screaming and shouting at us, interfering in all our personal matters. We tolerated her for a good one year as she was good at cooking our food and since we had already had 3 bad ones before this, we felt we will somehow manage with this as we don't know if the next one would be better or worse. Things got so bad when i got to know she had pinched my 3 year old son's thighs as she was angry with him. The same minute I asked her to pack and leave.
I took picture of my son's thighs, I also had audio recording of how she was misbehaving and when I showed it to the agent they hardly did anything about it. When my husband wanted to cancel her work permit, the agent is telling me to give the maid one more chance to find another employer. I was shocked. If I hadn't sent her back, this bloody agency would have told some other person she is very nice and sent her to their home. This great woman would have continued to torture that family as well.
Not just this, many of my friends who have gone in for DANS have had very bad experiences. All bad maids. Please don't go in for DANS. -

If you want recommendation, I can recommend my agent for many years. I’ve been hiring from her since 2011. Wherever she went, i followed. I think agent is more important than agency. I have a rules for myself, I change hekper once they complete contract and so far all the helper I got from my agent, is quite good. I dont have to choose myself as my agent will do all the screening for me. My families all took maid from her.
