We've (primary + secondary) been told to bring home all files & books today, plus an update-survey on home computing accessibility... Also been told to prepare for Term 2 assessments...

students are taught not need to wear unless they are unwell. my teen dun wear even on crowded peak hrs too!

yah ,with no cca, after sch activities. Teachers can divert their attetnion to upload materials on SLS learnings
maybe with uploaded work solutions too if duration is long.?

Wang Lao Shi and Mindstrecher have similar arrangement. Classes conducted via ZOOM. Hardcopy notes collected from centre and then returned to centre for marking. I am actually curious to see how the teachers conduct their classes.

Tuition Centres that offer 50% discount for E-learning:

            1. HCL
            2. Wang Learning Centre
            3. Joyous Learning

For e-learning, students need to print out their own materials. After tuition work is completed, they need to scan and email to tutor. After marking, tutor will email back to student then they need to print out the correct answers again.

so now, there will be a rush for scanner, because need to scan back the completed homework assignment, for Tuition Tr to mark.

Don’t need to buy scanner. Nowadays handphone got scanner app. Just take photo with hand phone & the app will convert immediately to PDF.

Our chenlaoshi is offering the best deal 😉 Thank you so much chenlaoshi!

We are listening now together with DS. Too bad the Chinese version was “talked over” by the female English translator. We are learning “new” terminology:

              Unprecedented = 前所未有 !

This year PSLE oral topic??? 冠状病毒??

We've always had worked solutions uploaded (by teachers) after worksheets are gone over in class; I guess now's a good chance to encourage more of such digitisation across the board...

Am opting out of centres' home based learning during this period (even if risking fee forfeiture) - do not serve my P3's needs... Some HBL are live only (interactivity?), some are recorded & allow playback. The HBL offered by TAS though looks impressive!

i think working mum become more busy now
                    tuition - e learning
                    Sch -elearning
parents need to help support / watch the pri sch kids so they are on track, ensure hey understand n can learn
what they need to prep exams 😓 ah yo , i v tired , come to think abt it - in sch , out of sch - all are E-learning
i think kids learning interest may decrease too

I just learnt from my son that his classmate’s ballet lessons will be e-learning too. I wonder how to?

These enrichment centres are just finding ways not to refund parents the fees. Really too much! Who knows Swimming lessons may become e-learning too. Dry swimming at home.

Swimming & ballet, cannot e learning.

For ballet, let’s say u stretch your leg wrongly. Tr got to bend your leg back to the correct way or correct angle, then u learn. Tr got to adjust your posture on the spot, still need that personal touch guidance to guide, tell u specifically which dance step mistake made wrongly

Violin, piano also cannot e learning. You place your violin bow on your shoulder at the wrong angle, Tr got to tell u shouldn’t do it this way or that way. No lah, not everything can be learnt e-learning way.

                        For academic subjects,
some subjects’ components can accept taught by e-learning way, but other subjects cannot. For those cannot, go for private tuition
