        Hi Zac’s mum

My child is using her device for writing her stories, accessing Internet, LIBBY for ebook and audio books, SLS, ezhishi, Zoom, Google classroom, etc. No need high speed or fast processing. She is using Microsoft surface go, we got it from from lazada online for under $800, std colour, with voucher and discount. Its compact and light. We chose it for her because it’s the model for writers. She loves it.
I am tempted to get one myself too.

I bought a new personal laptop and 32" Samsung monitor from Lazada. They delivered to my house within 2 hrs on a weekend.

Yes, if buy from lazada, buy only from official store with Microsoft flagship on the items.

BTW, Microsoft online has offer for surface go now. But so fast oos. Will wait to buy one for myself

She is taking the big picture view. She knows how to pick her battles (don’t waste ammo on fighting the small skirmishes).

Save your firepower/energy to solve the bigger problems facing your family right now. If HBL is not working out (for whatever reasons), know that it is ok to feedback to the teacher. Don’t shoulder the whole burden of struggling to meet some arbitrary, too-high expectations. The goalposts can be shifted. They are flexible.

😂 Can't wait for the CB to end and get back to classroom teaching. While it's convenient not having to travel around from venue to venue, the long hours in front of workstation got my neck aching at times. 😓 Might have to make adjustments to my schedule on days packed with lessons if the CB gets extended. :xedfingers:

Ergonomics are important. Please take adequate rest for yourself and look at some greenery outside your window to rest your eyes regularly too 😅 Reminder to myself also as I don’t even remember to drink enough water during my WFH.

                      Meanwhile, seen on cheekiemonkies FB:

Kidding! It’s getting better into our 2nd/3rd week.
