      buds:
      angela:

Sometimes, I want to fetch her from childcare but my mum said that confinement is very important to me. She does not want me to have any health problem when I am old.

Your confinement IS important dear. Different people will deal will post-birth
pain and recovery differently. Different durations of labour, different
experiences of labour and birth, and also each and everyone of us
have different levels to the threshold of pain and what we can or
what our body can endure. You take care. :hugs:
      angela:
We had bought the presents to be given to my DD1 from the baby. But we will only give it to her only after the baby goes back home next week.
This is a good idea too, angela!
      Concentrate on getting well now,
so you can be more up and about
in your own home. All the more since
you already know and can anticipate
that you won't be getting that much
care or help once you're back at your
place again.. You are still fortunate to
have your mother around to take care
of you and help care for the baby..

Plus the need to occasionally mind your
DD1. She IS doing a LOT! She has your
interest at heart by advising you to rest
more and so you should.. i admit at times
not heeding my mom's advice and when i
am much older now, i do see that she said
what she said (advice) for my own good...

I pray for stronger health for you and try to
keep your spirits up. I had problems with post
natal depression due to lack of support from my
hubs then and of cos no thanks to MIL. 😞
So, i can somehow relate to how you are feeling
and the situation you are in. Have faith that you
are stronger and above all these circumstances..
and once you get the engine running you can
resume your role to give the best care for both
      your babies.. :hugs:

      Take care now, angela. :snuggles:

      hi buds,

thks a lot for ur encouragement and advises.

I am really very thankful to my mum for helping a lot during my confinement . if without her, I am sure that I will get post-natal depression. I know that my mum is very tired for taking care of me and my babies. when I had my 1st girl, my wound did not recover fast, I really no energy to take care of my baby and no appetitie so my milk flow dropped. my husband did not help to look after the baby as I stayed at my mum's place and my mum's place very small so my hisband cannoy stay.

I know that when I go back home this coming sunday I will have no one to get help so everything I have to depend on myself. I have confident that I can overcome it. 😉

My 15 month old boy started throwing tantrums a lot 2 months ago, when we tried to disciplining him or not allowing him to do certain things. How to discipline him effectively at this age?

It is called the Terrible Twos and very normal. All children go through this phase around 2 years old.

They are finding out if they can push the boundaries. List them clearly beforehand. Stay firm to your boundaries, don’t give in ever. Cos if you give in then they will push back even more.

Eg give a gentle warning, screen time ends in 1 minute, then lets keep the screen & we play cards instead (give a suitable replacement activity). Then commit to removing the screen at the fixed time. Ignore the tantrum and don’t give in.

I have such a ram. With me, affectionate as a calf, with the rest the character is disgusting - stubborn, vengeful and very vengeful. The manipulator is the same. True, this does not work with me, but the teachers in the garden, and now the teacher in the school, are looking for a special approach to him. The child is seven years old, but I do not know what to do with him in order to change for the better.

Communication is a two-way street. If you want your child to listen to you, you have to be willing to listen to them first. Stubborn children may have strong opinions and tend to argue.

Anyone can help me? my child was caught shoplifting about two months back and he is still studying and this is his first offence. He said he have learnt his mistake already and he wont do it again because of all the guilt he has in him. He have not been sleeping well lately because his case became complicated, he dragged his friends into giving police statement even though they were unaware of him shoplifting at that point of time. But now, everything is done and his statement is being sent to AGC. He admitted to shoplifting from the first statement. anyone knows how long it takes for AGC to get back to the police?

1st offence? Any previous records? Under 18? AGC would take 2 to 4 months thereabout to decide whether any further actions to be taken. Since your child had admitted in the police statement, suggest you talk to a good lawyer. Cos a good lawyer would advise you before you decide whether to engage their help, instead of pestering for engagement fees. Consultation is free. This would help some way in the acceptance of possible outcome.
Make sure the one who advised is the one who would represent. Hope it helps.
