Yes, time really flies. My kid took h2 hist, math, econ and h1 chem. She avoid geography due to memorising work. Since she is quite consistent in hist so it is a natural choice.

Can the more seasoned parents share what a good GPA is expected to be and what the impact on choosing subjects for Sec 3 is if any? -

š (Not an RV parent but) To start the ball rolling, afaik Y1 results are considered if you want to take up Accelerated/ Advanced subjects in Y3. For these, besides Y2's performance, the school also looks at Y1 overall grade, especially the relevant subjects' performance (~75%). Otherwise, Y2 at ~65% seems a decent+average subject grade for the general subject combinations. Does your child incline towards science, humanities, aesthetics, languages?
So it seems Term 3's progress reports are out!
