Based on below qms post, 2018 indeed a hot dragon year, Kheng Cheng need to ballot <1km. I donโt think that is going to repeat though. Kheng Cheng mostly safe for 1-2km
Thanks David, Is it sure in for Kheng Cheng 1-2km? Do u have any data for 2018 Registration? Any balloting chance for 1-2km that year? Wanted to make reference to a year with similar high birth rate.

Hi, I am staying within 1km from RGPS. What is the chance of balloting at phase 2C?

take up rate in phase 1 is the highest since 2015. for now it still look a fair good chance of getting in without balloting for SC within 1km. in the unlikely case of a ballot, odd should be quite good too.

Any chance for PR under 2C if it is within 1-2 km?

You mean RGPS? No chance for PR at all distance.

Unfortunately, you have limited option. You can try PV for KCPPS to secure a seat in the earlier phase. -
Hi everyone my daughter is PR born in 2014 and we have the following options for 2020 Jan starts (and we do not have a car):
1)River Valley: <1Km but no chance for PR (walking distance)
2) Zhangde 1-2km: last year few chances for PR but not sure this year (7min by taxi or 20 muin by 1 bus +400 m walk)
3) Alexandra 1-2km: I understand not many chances โ> am I correct here
4) Cantonment 1-2km (8 min by taxi/28 min by bus + 700m long walk)
I am looking for an holistic school that looks also at the character development and not just academic results. I could see last year Cantonment I like the vibe + they start a bit later but their classes in P1 can be up to 40 kiddos. What do you think about Zhangde and Alexandra? How do you suggest me to approach it?
Welcome any suggestion to a non Singaporean mums trying to understand this complicated system! thanks a lot -

Have you considered CHIJ kellock or SMPS? Assuming you are in River Valley?

Yes we are in River Valley. What is SMPS? CHIJ i think will not fit because we are Jewish as a religion and i think my girl will feel strange to sing religious song. I understand that even if you do not have to pray, naturally everyone does. Is that correct? Thanks for your reply
