      Morning zac's mum,

Many thanks for the summary. It's a very good guideline for planning the PSLE revision.

      Very appreciated!

It's quite interesting to know that the presentation of the answers is considered in Math. I guess this is in the case where the final answers are incorrect?

All the very best for your kiddy's revision. πŸ˜„
Hi no worries. I’m just sharing what I have learnt.

For Math presentation of answers, what I meant is, for the child to get all the marks, he needs to present it in the accepted format.

Horizontal working (Eg. 10U = 50, 1U = 50/10 = 5) gets the method marks. Rough working at the right side of the page is completely ignored by the markers (Unless the kid scored very badly and they are looking to give some pity marks in those rare cases.)

If I’m not wrong, the final English statement also gets 1 mark.

And missing units in the final answer gets minus 1 mark.

          current 2020 ( P5 students and parents ),

do you prefer your primary school to standardize the teaching of primary school Science topics across the board, instead of currently now, every primary school teaching their own different sequence of Science topics ?

There was a tutor who wrote to TODAY about this issue:

Standardise teaching sequence for science topics in primary schools

Wonder how the banding works. It’s really more worrying compared to t-score system.
