How to help a child who keeps losing things in school?
-
Put a name tag on each item so that it will be easier to distinguish if that item is his. At his age, specially boys, they are often too clumsy or do not think of keeping their stuff properly (playing is mostly in their minds). Why not try to compensate your child if ever he comes home with complete set of things. For example, give him something he likes (not necessarily expensive) if he returns home without any loss. This way, he’ll learn to value his things. I hope that helps.

I do not know abt P1 andP2 but fromP3 andP4 onwards, boys luv to play penfight. Its a game where you flick pens across a table and try to knock of other pens. Maybe that's why boys pens mysteriously diappear

And if you think kids will stop losing things once they're in upp primary, think again!
My ds didn't bring home his sports shoes and socks after practice yesterday. Though I was the one who fetched him home, I didn't realise he wasn't carrying his shoebag; we only knew this morning after the maid told us about his missing shoes. Rushed back to the stadium, but alas, it was nowhere to be found.
Haiz...and he's already in sec1.
This's for you, sonshine.. :spank: -

What's ADD? Attention deficit..?? -
So do most of you place labels on your DS or DD names on all the stationery? I've plans to do so when DS goes to P1 next year. I've even bought extra water bottles for stand-by when I saw them on sale!!
Super KS...
