Hi
Always knew that Rulang is no doubt the best school in the west zone, so you can imagine the joy when I got my son’s number picked during balletng…it’s like strike lottery!
Anyway, it is end of term 1 now. My boy is coping well and he has mostly A, if not B for his term 1 ratings. Probably because of the preparation we gave when he was in K2.
So seriously, I donno if Rulang’s standard is high or the early preparation works. But, I found the homepage of Rulang really sucks…It is not updated frequently too, in addition, some of the home work given are also very normal standard…that definitely lower my previous high hopes and expection of Rulang… -

Any idea whether doing PV for Rulang would guarantee a place? -

No guarantee, but looking at this yr's result and considering next yr is yr of tiger, I guess chances should be better.

Erm, what has next year being year of tiger got to do with chances? :?
If u are referring to birth rates, then those registering this year would be borned in 2003 (year of goat), and those doing so next year would be borned in 2004 (year of monkey). -

Horse is typically a so called 'bigger' year, like ox, dragon... -
I have been calling West Grove for the past 3 days trying to know if I could drop by the school or I have to call the principal to fix an appointment.
A Ms Mala who answered the phone just simply couldnt tell me that I have to leave my number for the principal to call me back. So idiotic …Yesterday when I finally told her off, then she explained that I need to leave my number for the principal to call back… -

aYeah she mentioned that there are about 100 places for Phase 2C, and those more than 1 km got no chance. She said that for less than 1 km got balloting but somehow when she spoke …she tried to also tell that those within 1km usually get in the school. But I can say that they are veyr strict academically… now I am thinking twice whether to enrol my boy there or not …dont wait he stress lor…

Hi All, my gal will be in P1 in 2011 am now wondering whether to do volunteering work in West Grove or Rulang.. since Rulang is very popular am afraid that my gal will stil not get a place there even after volunteering and she will also missed to enter West Grove... any idea whether Rulang accepts 100% of kids whose parents participated in the their volunteering program?
