      Hi SunnyJane

I have also yet to receive any reply. If we dont hear from the school by 28 Feb, it will mean we are not selected.

What other schools are you looking at?

Under this new \"AL\" PSLE score system, kick-off implementation wef. 2021 (this year) onwards,

which operate In a similar manner like the O-level \"L1R5\" points system,

for students born in year 2009 onwards,

      it is not easy,
in fact could be challenging for some P6 RGPS students to score approximately estimated 6 AL Cut-off-points at PSLE, to enter RGS (IP).

      Therefore, if can,
wiser to enrol your daughter into an affliated primary school.

      Going forward wef. 2021 onwards,
due to \"Affliation\" status still existing under the new AL system,

(SCGS / MGS / Paya Lebar Methodist / Fairfield Methodist / St Margaret, CHIJ family, Nanyang) primary schools

will be highly much sought after, during Primary 1 registration. RGPS is less attractive

Thanks for the info. Is it true that distance is a criteria for PV selection for these elite schools. I live more than 2km away that's why I am asking.

Distance is a criteria for PV selection for ALL schools. Naturally, less popular schools have fewer applicants to choose from and may not see it as critical as the more popular ones.

NE (National Education) Ambassadors are student leaders, who want to promote citizenship values in RGPS. They are role models for youth. You may read their role & responsibility here

            https://sites.google.com/a/acsbr.org/student-development-public/home/character-development-citizenship-education-national-education

To have an idea of what NE Ambassadors do in other primary schools (not just RGPS), perhaps can read River Valley primary school NE Ambassadors role

            https://rivervalleypri.moe.edu.sg/rv-curriculum/character-and-citizenship-education-cce/national-education

May also refer to St Gabriel primary, have a glean (have some idea) of what \" NE Ambassadors\" supposed to do :-

                Anyone recall

for RGPS these past 2 years ( 2021 P1 students born in Y2014 and 2020 P1 students born in Y2013), per batch,

the school took in approximately, how many Parent Volunteer(s), under Phase 2B ?

                less than 10, or
less than 20, per batch ?

Majority of these selected PVs, stay below 2 km

                Or

All the selected PVs, stay less than 2 km ?

How many PVs got selected (if any), staying more than 2 km ?

                Thanks

PV selection for RGPS doesnt need to be distance based unless the school believes there is high risk of balloting during P2B P1 registration.

They interviewed how many parents that day, when you were awaiting for your turn outside the interview room ?
