I guess nobody in this same cohort will share publicly since they are competiting against each other. I think they will only share with their close friends now and publicly only when this whole thing is over.

Not because we are kiasu, and thus, don’t want to share, but rather we are none the wiser. Throughout my children’s growing-up years, I’ve learnt not to interfere with their learning/competitions/aspirations. What we know is past knowledge and experiences which may not be applicable or relevant now. By sharing secondary sources of information, we may end up jeopardising their chances if they go into the assessments holding onto the instructions (hearsay) we give them. The best approach is to let them find out on their own, reconstruct their understanding in their own ways so they can do their very best for themselves. As parents, we can only give them our blessing.[/quote]Agree to disagree.
Kiasu is in most of us, if not all. The word was invented, resonance deeply with connection to our society.

Many will interpret it as how to prepare oneself, so we can make the most out of our efforts, direct or indirectly.
Cyber information is vast, no fast fix/plug & play. Need to digest the meaning and relate/reflex them relative to its purpose.

For most parents, as long as their offspring is willing to discuss any matter, I think most will gladly pour out all the decades-old wisdom. The worst I can imagine...parents become irrelevant by choice.

what if the schools identified your children and they get penalised for publicly sharing? :stupid: :stupid: :stupid:

Understand that every applicant who goes through the interview process has to sign a non-disclosure agreement where he/she can’t reveal what happened during the FSA. Perhaps you can share after the whole selection process is over (after 13 April).

Totally agree about the non disclosure terms . Also Let the candidates have a level playing field so that the best possible candidates for our medical profession get in . They can help each other after getting in .

The advise from seniors is quite true ! NDA is there for a reason.
Let's not risk it ! Your DS is current batch...

Good luck to the big day !

I didn’t know this kind of terms. Anyway those took RP80 and above already best competent person as a doctor to be. I don’t agree with this type of on the spot interviews , since interviewer can decide with his own thoughts of the candidate

this is an unfair comment... so you are saying all the doctors in Singapore are chosen based on someone's opinion? :yikes:

I didn’t say that. But there is chances. I encourage all RP80 above students already qualified. That’s my opinion
