Application for NUS/NTU Medicine 2021/2022
-
Thanks for the thread. Seems funny that we have turtles in our names.
Heard that registration for BMAT closes at 12pm tomorrow. Those who are interested to apply to NTU medicine better register for BMAT today! -
Any follow up for application procedure? Any possibility to register BMAT now? My son sitting exam this year, suppose to finish exam tomorrow.
-
Applicants must only take BMAT once in an admissions cycle. Registration is around Sept every year. This year test was held on 4 Nov.

Thanks guys for the reply. Understand NUS medicine not necessary BMAT. Can anyone share format of a resume/Biography to attach with Application?
-
Anyone knows the minimum BMAt score to call for interview?

Hi All,
Happy New Year to all.
I’ve a question if its good to send your DS/DD to the prep schools to prepare for the interviews, PS, etc?
I did attend the online sharing but still have doubts about what I hear. Hopefully experienced parents can share their views with us. Thank you and keep safe -

Definitely not. Schools are looking for authenticity. Candidates who went through coaching can be spotted because they give standard answers. Save your money lah.

Appreciate if anyone can share on Aptitude based admission for NUS Medicine?
DS scored 38, don’t think he will even be called for interview ? -
Seems like LKCMedicine requires a civics tutor as referee… anybody noticed that?

Guys, plan to apply for NUS medicine this year for our DS. awaiting A level result. mean time looking for any leads for application preparation.

Dear parents, my son is in last year of school plans to apply to both local schools for med next year (planning BMAT this year) this also fits from our affordability view.
However, if he is unable to make it to local schools we are not clear of other pathways,
Next year when he is doing NS we are not sure how difficult or feasible it is to study for UCAT for UK/Australia admissions. Please do share your insights.
Thanks in advance! -

If both local med schools not possible, only option is to consider overseas undergraduate programmes or do the post-grad med programme in Duke-NUS med school. Wishing him best of luck in the coming application.
