Score of AL5 but no letter for ESIS. So is it school dependent? My DD’s a GEP school so there would be many with AL4.
May I know did your child take HCL? What is the score ? -

means that her child's PSLE Higher Chinese scored \"Merit\" & AL 5.
M for \"Merit\" -
There could be a raw score which determine the cut off for ESIS. And not so much of Higher MTl.

ESIS is not primary school dependent.
I think it is not dependent on your HMT.
I think it is solely dependent on the 4 subjects AL.
ESIS is awarded to mainstream students under a certain criteria and is awarded GEP students under a different criteria. So my guess is the 5M got it because he is a GEP student?
But I can be wrong, happy to be corrected. -
68.4% qualified for Express vs. 66.3% the last two years. Possibly a slight impact for some of the affiliated schools (both the AMR that qualifies and the non-affiliated COP based on remaining vacancies).

Try looking on the other side of the letter? You might have missed it. Together with the info on 3rd language. -

ESIS is for cohort top 3% students (and not just GEP students). The purpose is to get $200 off per month when you study in an independent schools such as RI, RGS, HCI and NYGH, MGS etc, for 6 years into JC2. It does not applied if the student studies in government aided schools.cpyx\" post_id=\"2047713\" time=\"1637729717\" user_id=\"193316:
Yes. Score of 5M, we got the letter for ESIS.
