Their PV system is centralized

I.e
If ATS needs manpower for morning traffic control, they request from SHHK.
SHHK will get from their existing PV pool to supply to ATS.

As to how to be chosen to go to ATS...... we will leave it for another time la.

That will defeat the purpose of PV completely. PV is for the parent to know the school better. If SHHK maintains a pool of PVs that it routes to different schools depending on the schools' needs, parents may not be assigned to their school of choice. MOE/SHHK should stop this practice.

I know, but I do commiserate with zac's mum over her points. Why should GRLs and religions be given any priority in the registration process? While GRLs may have contributed to society, those contributions may not directly go to the school. And you get affiliation simply based on religions? Without doing anything for the school?

If you ask me, I think Phase 2B is ripe for restructuring. The parents who did PV should be given priority as they had clearly sacrificed dozens of hours of their time for the school. That would not only make them know the school better, but also make them value the school more because they have spent all that effort. And I feel that this should be the only group that qualifies for Phase 2B.

For those existing HHK members, can I check izit tough to get the volunteer work? Or If the Volunteer work will be 80h in the last year as priority determine by the kids birth registration year for clan selection. Anyone can share the process ? Thanks

Hello, I wouldnt say it's exactly tough to get the volunteer work - it's more of fastest finger fast. For example, an email requesting for volunteers will be emailed to you. After that, you can quickly choose the slots you can commit and submit. After that they will announce who are the volunteers with their desired slots.

80 hours is the minimum requirement to get the precious letter to be eligible for Phase 2B. Whether you get into your desired school is of no guarantee. Then again, it's a chance.
