There's a reason for this arrangement and it has something to do with the location of the school. Consider what the residents there have to go through and you will understand why the school has made reporting time at 7.30 am when lessons only start at 8 am.
In the past, all schools (primary and secondary) in Singapore had two sessions (Double Session System), and 7:30 was a reasonable start time.
But now all secondary schools (and most primary schools) have implemented the single session system since 2000. 7:30 is no longer reasonable. We need to change accordingly. Long-term existence does not mean reasonable.

It’s ok, no need to worry. My child is wearing just plain white socks (no ankle socks) and that is acceptable by the school as well.
Oh thanks! At least the school is not that strict in this aspect.

Random, with the exception of those who didn't take HCL in primary school.

              Close to 40 per class.

May I know how many subjects that students normally take in Upper Sec? 9 or 8? Assuming pure science combination.

Can triple science take with double humanities? Or just one humanity subject. Thanks.

                  4 E math
                  5 Elective Humanity (chose 1 from Geo/Hist/Eng lit/Chi lit)
                  6/7 chose 2 from Phy/Che/Bio

                      Correction:

                      Instead of 6/7 chose 2 from Phy/Che/Bio

                      should be

                      6/7 Che compulsory. chose 1 from Phy/Bio
