[quote]As the vocab list provided at the end of the CL textbook comes in the form of 生字表 rather than 词语表，I collated my own 词语表 from Pri 4 to 6 textbook. Please feel free to share the download link with others whom you think may find them useful.

The way I use it is, as I revise the 词语 with my students, I highlight common 词语搭配, common misconception/misunderstanding (inc. other tricky 词语/字 which may appear similar or have similar meaning but different usage etc.). Such information can be jot down in the 3rd column, together with the 词语's English meaning.

For self revision, students can cover the 2nd column (showing 汉语拼音), test themselves on the pronunciation and write down the English meaning of each phrase based on their understanding. Through this process, they will be able to identify the 词语s which they do not fully comprehend (be it in terms of pronunciation or meaning) and subsequently focus and work on these \"weaknesses\".

Hi, 十年树木百年树人, teachers (like chen laoshi) & curriculum planners have indeed put in tremendous efforts. There is a (P5) 中医药文化班, which greatly piqued my kid's interests in the different 穴位。Initially we had thought that it was just about making 驱蚊香囊。As we progress, we realise that the lessons are in fact carefully scripted, such that vocabulary is kept simple, important concepts are repeated, & at the same time teachers did not forget to frame it all in our local context, with quizzes built meaningfully. It was amazing as we explored along how 华佗/ 曹操 stories in the 中医药文化班 connect with the 杨修 passage in 核心课文。Then there is also 绘本制作![/quote]

Just read that Holy Innocent gave out an informative 23 pages booklet《圣婴小学中医药文化课程》小册 as part of their attempt to stimulate the students' interest in Chinese culture, history (with mentions about 《神农本草经》, 《本草纲目》 etc. and idiom 对症下药) and TCM.

Kudos to them for their efforts!

Talking about the influence of social media, some of the students are more familiar with the lyrics of 《热爱105°C的你》and 《孤勇者》then their academic text.

Do you know if oral is included in the O level HCL grading criteria? Ie I saw my girls O level with a grade (eg A2-F9) in HCL and another grade (Dist, merit, pass) for HCL oral. So is oral included in the calculation of the A1-F9 grading?
