Isn't this a bit early? The kids are only going to be born this year!
but you see, if you are thinking of applying for BTO flat now under fiance fiancee scheme, your kid will be in time :rotflmao:

        Yes. Now is only January.

        9 months later,
these babies will be born in October or November 2023, just in time to enrol for ACS T. This, being a GEP centre, will be a Top primary school in Tengal.

This isn't a new school but a 'shift' to a new location. Effectively, it's just an extension of ACSP discussion. Let's merge and keep to a single thread
            :siam:
            I agree.

With its enlarge cohort size and its massive appeal as an prestigious GEP school with affiliation ACS barker sec may not be able to handle the large cohort of students promoting to secondary school. perhaps an acs coed school make pop up in tengah in the not too distant future.

wonder if this school is going to have some fancy facilities like swimming pool etc? I think ACS T could potentially become one of the top primary school in Singapore..
Swimming is one of the CCAs that many ACS boys excel in.

Probably, will ask the old boys + the newly enrolled students, to donate $ generously to the school, towards building an Olympic sized swimming pool there inside Tengal premises, for the convenience of students there to take their swimming lessons within the school compound, instead of waste time travelling somewhere else to swim.

So far, all the Methodist denomination schools, have their own affliation.

                  PLMGS primary (Girls' school) -
is affliated to Paya Lebar Methodist Girls' Secondary.

                  MGS primary -
is affliated to Methodist Girls' Secondary.

Fairfield Methodist primary (co-ed) - is also affliated to own Secondary school.

                  Geylang Methodist primary (co-ed),
is also affliated to their own Secondary school.

So, is quite odd / weird,
to hear that the Tengal girls, no affliation to any Secondary school.

                  ============================

Although the primary school girls in 2030 ACS Tengal no affliation at all,

                  but think
In time to come, as time passes, probably one fine day, this will change. Probably, there is a high chance that ACS Barker Secondary school ONE day in future may turn co-ed, so that the Tengal girls also can enjoy some sort of affliation, to some school.

highly possible as the acs girls should easily outperform many acs boys.

and acs should not compare to NYGH cop because nygh is IP and cop is AL7. whereas ACS express is perhaps AL2x

People will rush to buy Tengah (BTO + condo)

Prices of Tengah homes near ACS (Primary) could rise 10% to 15%: Property analysts

They using schools as a bait,
to entice potential new home buyers (parents), divert hdb purchase traffic from Whampoa / Bendeemeer / Boon Keng / Queenstown, Redhill, Bukit Merah to go & buy Tengah BTOs instead. That is, dangle a carrot, right in front of these potential new hdb applicants (buyers).

Those rich, elite ACS old boys who already owned property inside the centralized city area (eg. Novena / Newton, etc) will much prefer to stay put, where they are. They will prefer, choose to enrol their sons into ACS (Junior), instead of to far away remote ACS (Tengah). So, what do u think, can possibly happen ?
                        Forsee that

in time to come, one fine day in future, ACS (Junior) will be \"asked / requested\" in high demand by many old boy fathers , to offer the same gifted programme inside ACSJ, too.

At the same time, those \"haolian\" heartland dwellers in Tengah, can boast that their kids are studying in elite schools.

There will exist two distinct campus : one located inside the city, the other outside city, remote. This is the model, they trying to build.
