Actually, not just for our own kid, it has to be fair to every kid that prepared hard for it, for any domain. Some parent might think their kid wont make it, and start sharing details (either offline or online), but that is hurting other brilliant students that worked hard for it.

All parent here should only discuss about date, process, flow, criteria, selection, result, statistic etc pertaining to application itself, not about the technical aspect of any test/trial/interview in any domain.

According to the school staff, interview invitation all sent out by 12 July, for 8 July trial.

Are u sure? Base on last yr experience, SJI timeline as Such.
Trials was in 9 july
email me on 25 July for Interview
Inteview was in 4 Aug
Confirmation on 22 Aug via email & physical mail

As such, 4 days after trials to send out is not realistic.

You may like to double check, coz it is always the admin staff who give wrong infomation

Hi all, I am new to DSA. I would like to know more about wait list. My child is going for sports DSA. If we accept WL offer will it be given to us when the PSLE results are out? Or we will not be offered at all when PSLE results are out? How does WL works? we were told (the school that we ate applying) they will only be giving 2 CO and 3-4 WL.

Not all WLs are converted. Some may be coverted, some don’t. Assuming you have only 1 WL, if it doesn’t convert, then you will join the Sec 1 secondary school posting. Conversely, if it converts, then you dont join the sec school posting.

Thanks! Beside the call to the school, my son’s friend indeed received email for interview only 2 working days after the trial. I guess they are efficient. 😊

I really think it is not the case, most of my Son junior track mate did not get any invitation for interview till now. And most are podium finisher in NSG. So i really thing it is not the case.

If they nvr, this week or next should be out.

Hi, yes. Me too. That's because NUSH is so different from the others. Getting called up for interview is coz they are unsure of you. So chances of getting co is also slim. From past years I read. 585 pages of NUSH in kiasuparemts, most will be offered WL after interview and not co. Although WL in the past was converted to co, there is still a risk n many more sleepless nights till PSLE results out. I rather the extreme actually to close the chapter.

I have also read those over 580 pages of NUSH.
In 2019, there were six people who mentioned that their DC were called for an interview.
The outcomes were as follows: 2 CO, 2 WL, and 2 were rejected.

So, the chances are still quite high.

SJI indeed process faster this year. attended sport trial on 15th and received email on tue for next week interview

Is up to the school, when these 3 people (P or VP + music maestro), are ready to conduct Round (2) interview, as administrative co-ordination effort is required, needed to bring these busy people together.

As an applicant, u just do your best and leave the final verdict outcome to the school authority. As an applicant, u should also be prepared to ... wait

Things or situation that are beyond your control, don't focus anymore. Don't sweat the small stuff. Otherwise, our life will be pre occupied with anxiety, which is not healthy.

In Singapore,
everybody want things done fast, at the snap of their finger saying, \"I want it, NOW !\"
But, very important, one must also learn, how to ... wait. Patience

No I wasn't expecting them to immediately call for interview. I also know there's nothing I can do except to wait.

I have forgotten to add that aside from prelims there are other auditions also in the coming 2 weeks so hence I was wondering roughly how long do they take to respond usually so I can anticipate and prepare my child accordingly.
