entering into RI (Year 5) next year 2024, may take note.

1) wef. next year 2024 onwards,

you will be under the brand new maximum 70 score points A level system. No more under the current old phasing out soon by end of Dec 2023, the maximum 90 score points system

And

inside RI (Year 5 and 6) -

For the more often popular
" Science " stream

H2 A-level (BCMX or PCMX) subject combination,
where

X stands for a Humanities subject, B for H2 Bio,
C for H2 Chemistry,
P for H2 Physics,
M for H2 Maths,

note that -

the lecture slots are all online in RI while the tutorial(s) and Science practical slots are conducted in person, by the lecturer in charge of that subject matter content.

1. is there any mep class? or all girls distributed randmly

2. cannot take 3rd lang and mep together rite? But 3rd lang selection is before mep selection - how would we know if child is accepted into the mep program? can choose the 3rd lang first and then drop it if we got into the mep?

Hi, my gal gotten al6 and plan to place rgs as 1st option. Since 6 is the cut off point, there is a chance she won’t get in correct? Historically, what would be the fall out rate for those even meet the cut-off point since rgs is highly oversubscribed every year I pressume …

Hi, congrats to your girl's stellar results!

I think nobody will be able to tell you about the chances of getting into RGS with AL6, except the school or MOE.
Personally, I believe the chances are quite high especially if you're a Singaporean because balloting prioritization.

In case your girl is balloted out during the S1 posting exercise, you can still appeal to RGS after the S1 posting result is out.

Thanks. Yeah, I guess my question was quite silly to begin with . Haha.. anyway, we will put cedar girl ip as 2nd choice and in fact, ok with this too. If can't get into rgs, should not be a problem getting into cedar girl and will accept it.
