Last year - most of the time my girl wore pinafore twice a week and culotte + house shirt three times a week.. (Tues, Thurs and Friday)

Btw, Tues and Thurs is CCA.

However, next year with new principal onboard, not sure if they will still the same practice or not.
Ok noted thanks ! Most ccas 2 days a week? Any CCA once a week ๐Ÿ˜›

Most CCAs are two days and will be three days during FYSC year. I donโ€™t think there is any CCa conducted once a day.

For the first two years, it's a transitional phase for her, marked by adapting to a new environment that includes self-directed learning and managing lot of emails for all school-related activities. It also involves experiencing newfound freedom, making new friends, and engaging in new competitions.

As you know, all the girls are exceptionally brilliant, smart, hardworking and some are competitive. Hence she has to learn how to keep pace with it and not get overly stressed up by the pressure. Additionally, considering they are in their teenage years, puberty may impact their emotions. Therefore, as parents, we must help them manage these challenges and offer support when they need it.

I would recommend parents to attend the sharing sessions organized by the school to learn how to help and support your girl in these journey. There are good insightful sessions like -

            1. Cyber wellness for your child.
            2. Guideline for School-Home partnership.
            3. My independent learner.
            4. Mental well-being resource guide for PSGs.

Overall she enjoyed her RGS's journey, especially in Y3 and Y4. We can see a big change in her.

                Hi parents,

My gal got AL5D, & RGS is her 1st choice, may know what are her chances of getting the offer from RGS?

since RGS Cut off points is 6,

                  And

RGS is her FIRST choice Secondary school,

your daughter will be able to enter at 5 points, ahead of all those AL 6 pointers,

who may need to ballot, in the event demand exceeded the supply of vacancies, left available.

                  Thus,
you may proceed to buy RGS uniform, for her.

                      1) All

                      (AL 4 + AL 5) pointers

                      RGS applicants,
                      who have placed

RGS as their FIRST choice Secondary school,

you may proceed to buy your RGS Secondary school uniform.

                      2) All AL 6 pointers who have placed RGS as your FIRST choice school,

                      hold back.
do NOT buy school uniform yet, because you may need to ballot.

For PSLE batches (2021, 2022, 2023), students who are born in years (2009, 2010, 2011), are there any

RGS applicants who have scored AL 6 and

put RGS as their SECOND choice school, have failed to get in ?
