All About Preparing For Primary One

RRMummy,
When she is not willing to cooperate like these few days, Iβm at my wits end. Thereβs nothing I can do about itβ¦maybe will try again tonight. Her moods can drive one up the wall. Gotta run, kids having tuition at 7pm. -
Poohbear:
Nope, not applying for Rulang. We are within 1km to both Fairfield and Henry Park. C how things go

Hi poohbear,

buds:
Alamak! :slapshead: Sollie, sista.. :salute: I made you stress.
No lah... it better to know now and do something abt it, than be in a shock 6 months later
Actually, must thank you for being helpful to share so much details
:love:buds:
I m now more kancheong abt the Jie Jie only, keep saying mei mei still got time. But truth is mei mei is just 1 year younger.. not that much time actuallyLike i said, mebbe just me that's KS lah.. and besides having an
older DD1 oredi in P3, i suppose i tend to do a wee bit more with
DD2 to ensure she is better prepared now, as compared to when
i prepared her jie-jie back in P1. (Since oredi experienced P1 with
the jie-jie).
buds:
Your DD2 is great  My DD2 always v tired when it comes to work... but always not tired when it comes to play / TVGood thing is DD2 is almost very automatic oredi with all her work
load and assignments and she did extremely well for her recent SA1
formative assessment with very minimal help from me.
buds:
My gals are the shy type, trying to get them to speak up more :nailbite:I like the formative assessment way of tabulation as it encompasses
a child's strengths as a whole and not just paper results. But we were
informed that the paper exams will be formally tested for SA2... which
again is good, for at least there won't be too much of a culture shock
come P2.buds:
Well...spoilt for choice or not...not sure cos both may need balloting within 1km... so we r really praying hard to get a place without the need to go thru the stress of ballotingWow! Spoilt for choice eh..

Both Fairfield and Henry Park are great school choices, Poohbear. I think
your child will thrive in either schools! :celebrate:

How abt your gal?
They just started introducing HYPY this term so maybe she needs a little more time. They sing a very catchy tune for the 4 tones, maybe singing it together more often might help..
