Thanks for the advise,Looks like Pei Hwa is very hot this year. OMG, we are monitoring school vacancies like stock market. Nanyang has 2 classes more for P1 than Pei Hwa and yet take up yesterday was just 111.
It was necessary to ballot for MGS (within 1km) last year, so it's not advisable to try for MGS esp when you have 2 younger boys. Pei Hwa will be better and safer because you're staying within 1km. All the best.
Let see how the rest of phases turned out. keeping our fingers cross.. -

Just curious, how many PVs does NYPS take in each year?
Looking at the statistics so far, it seems that there is a strong possibility for balloting to take place for 2B this year? -
Just happend to see this on MOE website...whew, no need to wait until next Mon/Tue.
Figures show vacancies for Phase 2A2

That’s more compared to Pei Hwa, which is 20 according to another parent here… -

30 PVs is about 1 class of students. Nanyang is still offering 13 classes of P1 as compared to Pei Hwa of 11. -

Well, it had better... as it requires the highest number of hours as compared to other schools - 80 hours if not mistaken.

Wonder if all PVs manage to complete all 80 hours? :? -
Busymom:
Yeah NYPS needs 80 hours of PV. I guess all would have completed the 80 hours coz I dont thinik any parent who managed to get selected as a PV would be risk the consequence of not qualifying for 2B..
