I browsed Dangdang.com many times.. Tempted to order some books for my boys, but my chinese is very lousy.. hehhee.. so, I am very hesitate to order... 😢

Initially I hv \"headache\" when i first visited the website. 🙂 What I did was I read slowly, got the hang of it and now enjoy visiting the website. U can try it too. 🙂

Busymom, I wrote to the same email address previously too. Received reply from them each time.

Thank you, dimsum, tamarind and Dokomo, for all your replies. I finally received a reply from dangdang, asking for verification of my credit card. Hopefully, the status could soon be changed to verification complete and shipment out. 🙏

Perhaps my first two enquiries were not made at the right place on the website. 😉

            Hi Tamarind,

I finally got my AMEX card but still facing problem with ordering.
I am at Step 3: 填写核对订单信息 & whenever I keyed in the verification code, it doesn’t accept but just prompt another set of new code.

Do you face such prob? What should I do next?

            TIA

There is no need to enter any verification code.

Only enter your name, Amex card number and expiry date.

              Remember to try once only.

Hi tamarind, I have read the 好妈妈胜过好老师 and like one of this parts: 不陪”才能培养好习惯

Therefore, when DD was back after the supplementary class at 4pm yesterday and wanted to do some other thing instead of doing homework or read a story book, I let her plan herself instead of asking/remind her the school work. She then chose to make a dress for her Barbie doll. I commended her creativity and took a photo for it. DD was very happy and done her school work and Science MCQ (from me) extremely fast than usual. After that she took a bath and enjoying her dinner with a story book and get ready for the 8pm show 食在好源 头and went to bed after the 9pm new CL show. We both were happy and I learnt to be patient, not to 一着急就替孩子做决定.

Thank you for recommend such a wonderful book.
                😄

                Hi Brenda10,
You are welcome 😉 That section also leaves a deep impression on me.

Actually this book is recommended for parents who can read Chinese newspapers easily, since the words are very small and it is a thick book, it may appear daunting to parents not used to reading in Chinese.

                  Hi Tamarind

                  Thank you.

I enjoy reading you’re input in this forum as well as your blog. You are very knowledgeable and resourceful. Unfortunately I only started explore this forum in April this year otherwise would help my dd even better. Now I’m trying to 亡羊补牢 and hopefully my dd would be a 黑马 and do well in next year PSLE CL.

                        Hi Tamarind,

I have not even reach that stage. This happened when I want to submit my order. Very strange.

                        I will try again...
