Those whose PILs bought jewellery for them, good oredi lah. Mine nothing, we had to pay for MIL's cheong sum and FIL's suit instead.

Same here No jewellery at all. Even the 聘金 (in the form of wedding dinner tables) was from our own pockets.

My hubby & I paid for all the expenses too. If you want PILs to pay for your wedding dinner.... :lol: wait long long.....

F.Y.I, my parents return the Ang bao for the 10 tables they asked for.

esp the bigger the rock, the more impt the colour i feel as i always see those big big ones from taka.. true, v big but oso can tell the stone is yellowish instead of bright and white sparkling ones..

Tiffany has nice designs although not copyrighted I'd think. Larry's is the go-to name apparently. My engagement ring was from Larry and this lady has had so many referrals from us, me thinks we should get her to give us a huge discount for my 10th year anniversary rock. :rubhands:

According to the Larry website, they recommend Cut over the other Cs esp. when you do not have unlimited budget.


I agree too as Cut is the factor that provides the sparkles in a diamond.
