looney:
Was puzzled..cos i run through the documents to bring from MOE website..i didnt see tt we need to show something to prove tt our child is currently attending pre-school

MOE recommends that the child at least go through one year of kindergarten before joining P1. MOE will help to get the child into one of the kindergartens if he/she is not currently attending.

However, proof of attending kindergarten is not one of the required documents during P1 registration.

I was asked that question last year but was not required to produce any proof.

I’m of the opinion that the school wants to identify such children as they would probably need more attentions from the teachers.
HI Parents,

Do photocopy your original documents prior registration. It saves time.

Thanks for the tip!! I will~!!! Now my turn to panic, Phase 2B next week.. Woo!!!!

Was telling my hubby Phase 2B doesn't go by first come first serve basis, he still keep on telling me he wanna go at 7am.. Zzzzz.. The man don't get it issit?

We reached the school at 10am and was given the queue number 214. Hubby went into panic mode. That's not enough. After registering, we went to IMM to wait for son to dismiss from school. That hubby of mine was standing in a daze...I asked him what happened. He told me he was calculating the number of parents coming in to register every few minutes. FAINT !!!
:udaman:

Does anyone know how do we keep track of the number of kids registering at each school during the day of registration? Does one parent have to station in the school the whole day or do we call up the school to find out? Would the school entertain such calls?
