Can you tell us how the balloting was conducted? Using ping pong balls..? How does the 2 ballot slips vs 1 slip for PR work? I think most of us would be curious to know. :?

I have been watching this thread closely for the past weeks, can't help feeling nervous too for all the parents going for phase 2b balloting. congrats to all that mangaged to to get a place! :celebrate:

My boy will be enrolling in 2 years time (he is 4 this year).. I'm already starting to feel the pressure... I wonder how much worse the situation will be by then...

Mine was like 62 or 63. Wow. Down to the last 7. So many repeat and yet my son's name was not called. Already planning for Phase 2C when his name appear. Thank God. He heard our prayers.

Now I finally know how nerve wrecking the experience can be. I was so nervous that I dunno whether to laugh at the jokes. Can't even bring myself to look at this forum during the process. lol. Luckily I don't have to go thru it anymore with my second son.

I hope namie and ben2010 got it too. BTW did they mention about abt schoolbus arrangement just now?

Each SC were given 2 ballots while SPR were given 1. Put all into a fish bowl. Then 10 ballots were drawn each time. So u can imagine how panicky the parents can be each time the 10 names was read out and your son's name is not among them. I had to wait till the last 7 names.

Nope. I didnt hear anythg abt that. Only heard orientation on Nov 13 at 9am! I was too happy to hear anythg else. Congrats to both of us!

So does it mean that at times the same child's name is called 2x? So it is just using marked papers with registration numbers of child, right? Yes, can imagined the stress & heart pounding moments.
