I had my 1st kid when I was 22, 2nd kid when I was 26.. Now waiting for them to grow up fast! πŸ˜‰

      why fast ?

so that you can be grandparent soon ? at age 44 ?

I understand autumn82's feeling. Fast so that she can enjoy her half/full retirement life at age 44. Correct?

The older generation. My auntie had her 1st child at 18. Her son eventually went on to get married at 18.... and her grandson went on to get married at early 20's. All being the result of shotgun marriages.

So at 71, she is already a great-grandmum to a 5 year old. Compared to my mil at the same age, my mil eldest grandson is only 17. Sometimes there are pros and cons to shortgun marriages πŸ˜‰

An ex-colleague told me that her mother-in-law is my age! And she already has 3 kids!

My late grandma had her 1st child at 19. My mum had hers at 20 and became a grandma at 44. Among her 9 grandchildren, the eldest is almost 20 and the youngest is 2! There's another one comming out soon. I had mine in my late twenties. If my wish could come true, I'll like my children to have kids when they're in their mid twenties. I also wish to have around 8 grandchildren πŸ˜„ , ideally, 4 from each child.

Coz I've seen what my late mum went thru? She gave birth to me at the age of 34yrs old and when I'm 20years old, she was already 54years old! Compared to my other peers, their parents are so much younger than mine. πŸ˜‰ On the other hand, at least I can still go out with my gal and look like sisters? :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

Yea, partially is early retirement thingy. I don't wanna slog my life at the age of 50years old, trying to pay for my kids uni fees. I wanna go tour around the world by that age!!!!

It’s interesting. I recalled when my uncle got married in his 30’s 20 years ago, everyone was like… you will be so old when your child grows up. His only child is going to uni this year and yes, he is in his late 50’s now.

BUT… I thought it’s very common nowadays with people getting married later and later. I had sec school friends who just have their 1st child this year. While my eldest is already 9 yrs old. Seeing that, i am starting to feel really "old". Eg. I have to worry about primary school stress while they are only begining to enjoy baby days. It seemed like a long time ago that I did that.

My mum is 25 years older than me and I think that gap is ok. I want to be able to see my kids grow up, get married and be successful in life.

I had my first baby at 25 and 2nd one at 27. I had read that best time for women to have baby was between 25 to 29, can't remember the exact figure, it was so long ago that when I plan to have my baby. It was good for both mum and baby, mum recover fast and baby will be more heathlier... πŸ˜„
