Any Chinese Physician to recommend? :)

Hi mommies,
would like to share my son TCM with you 陈洁慧医师。 I’m have allergic rhinitis for years and so my son is sensitive as well. She specialised in treating infant, toddlers and chidren up to 10 years old. She uses herbs to 熏鼻子 nose ventilation as well as baby massage to treat sensitive nose. Particularly if you have cold, it works very well. Although my son do not have strong allergy now I also let him do baby massage for prevention and save medical costs in future
Adult can also use the nose ventilation too. 陈医师used to be at Neil Road and now opens her new place at Havelock Road, near Tiong Bahru Plaza.
If mommies are interested, please pm me for her contact. -
Hi angel_09,
Thanks for the sharing
Just wonder how much is the charges? :? -
My family and I go to Chee Seng Tong Chinese Medical Hall:
Thomson Imperial Court, 200 Upper Thomson Road, #01-02, S(574424)
It's best to call for an appointment Tel: 6251-3268
And they quite systematic (some call it atas):
1. You can only call for a morning appointment in the morning and after 2pm for an afternoon appointment.
2. You need to ready the IC, birth cert or passport of the person seeking medical advice.
3. And of course you need to be on time, else risk losing your appointment.
But if you kept to these simple rules, the consultation time is kept to, it's brief and precise. You give an angpow (amount to your discretion) to the sinseh and pay for the medicine separately. You can opt for the nasty chinese concotion that needs brewing in a pot; or the ready ones in (equally nasty) powder sachets, to be added to warm water.
I've had asthma since I was 3 and never been cured. It's under control now. I've had 2 terribel episodes when I was pregnant. I'm just hoping and praying that DD doesn't \"inherit\" this from me.
Feel better soon everyone

Hi Angel 09,
Went to see 陈洁慧医师 yesterday after seeing your recommendation.
Total charge is $58. Which include massage, 熏鼻子, med and consultation. Will like to check with you your $22 per session covers what?
Am wondering if its because first visit thus so exp? Min need to go back every week for the treatment and she mentioned will be effective in 3~6 months time. So am thinking it will be very taxing to my pocket before can see any result. (Forgot to ask during my visit)
Maybe you can help me.
Thanx. -

[/quote]Hi GreenQ,
Is he a young man not tall & slight plump? I know of a Chinese doc practising at his medical hall at Toa Payoh. Heard him talking over the phone to his patient that he goes to Chung Hwa on certain days. I know him by his English name Brian Koh. His father is also a TCM & practise at the same shop as him. If this doctor is the same as the one you saw in Chung Hwa, I know where to get him & there is definitely less Q. -

I brou my younger boy to see her for at least 3 mths last year. Maybe it's our own prob, the treatment was not curing the prob totally. Plus time going to the Neil Rd clinic and then rushing back to sch. In the end, stopped going.Hi Angel 09,

Now seeing a China doc @ Beauty World Centre. Finally ok, no hem-hem cough or running nose for a few mths now.
I recommended a friend whose 2nd boy has some prob with his nose. Recently the TCM physician told me this friend recommended her sis-in-law whose 2nd boy also has nose issue- running nose in the morning. -
Me and both my kids have allergic rhinitis and we've been going to Chunghwa Hospital in Toa Payoh many times. We didn't stick with any particular doc but it seems they all prescribe similar medicine (they usually check the records in the PC). Anyway, the medicine worked on us. Since then, we've stop taking all kinds of western allergy medicine :celebrate:
BTW, has anyone tried 同济医院? The last time I took the taxi to Chunghwa hospital, the taxi driver asked me why not go to 同济医院 which is much closer to my house. He said it's very good :? .
