NYGH girls looks having better 气质 than RGS, RGS girls looks same as of other schools of singapore.

Looks? that sounds pretty superficial. Since we are generalizing so broadly, I know guys from RI or ACS would anytime want to date a RGS gal. It is like a prize to them if they are successful. If they cannot manage to do so, sour grapes symptoms may appear, but that is just boys' ego. In their heart they still value them for their spirit and character which is essentially the wife material. Looks? 🙂

I tend to disagree. I know for sure that guys from RI may not readily want to 'get' or date an RGS girl. Surprised to hear that RGS girls can be a prized commodity. Looks would usually be the first attraction and if there is suitability in characters then it could result in a long term relationship. Not where the schools the boys and girls come from. IMHO.

Maybe both of you are talking about different age group of RI boys?

When they are just a teenager, probably less cool to be seen having a RGS girl as girlfriend as compared to having a girlfriend from hot babe schools like ___ (please fill in the blank as you wish cos' everybody has different opinion and I don't want to get 🦆). However, once out of school, maybe what ksi said could be true for men who are confident of themselves? I don't know, I am not a RI boy... 😉

Thanks snowz for sharing.....so it is generally perceived that RI and ACS boys would date RGS gals and not NYGH girls. 😉

Don't read too much into the result of the survey which was done in 2004. A lot has changed. The sample size is small and perhaps made up of a lot of teenagers who have different needs during that stage in their lives. RI and ACS boys like other Singaporeans would prefer girls from overseas when they grow up IMHO. These overseas girls are much more realistic and desirable than RGS or NYGH ones.

Let me ask my current RI little friends to see if opinions have changed. 😐 I got a feeling..some things never changed. 😉

                      What is the difference?

My DD likes Maths, Science & Music. Her Chinese is alright.

Which school will be better for her?

I think they are different in culture … So bring her to these 2 schools to have a feel and she might make her own decision. Afterall both are very good school.
