        I guess, so.

I saw young girls holding hands with their boyfriend. Maybe this is the trend.

What happen if our kids also date early?

My girl told me in K2 that she has broken off with her boyfriend! Luckily now in P1 she told me she is no longer interested in boys…

i think parents should play their part by not encouraging such things. I have personally seen a mother asking her daughter which ‘boyfriend’ is she calling when she was playing with a toy phone. and then also bragging to everyone that there is a boy that always likes to follow her daughter of 5 yo.

I had mentioned to my boy that it is more appropriate to wait until he is 18 yrs old before dating. If he has anyone that he likes, he can befriend that person and take on from there when he reaches 18yo. Nonetheless, occasionally, I'll still asked if he has anyone in mind that he 'likes'. That is in case he really does have but is keeping it from me cos I told him to wait til he is older.
                  Me : You have girlfriend?
Ds1: No la. You said 18yo what.
Me : Yes, but if there is someone you really like, don't be afraid to let me know.
Ds1: of course. I let you know and you get the rings for me, can?
                  :!: :!:
