Sometimes things happen for a certain reason. Maybe it is not meant to be because your DS is destined to carry the torch in your backup school instead..

Don't look back dear, try to focus on your next step and put your backup plan in place..

I was quite heartbroken for sometime but then I then I thought it wasnt in my hand anyways.. so just focus on next step...

Focus on your backup plan now and in the meantime, think through if you would still want to put your DS on waitlist at WG.

Yes, waitlist would certainly be long. Hence, I think it is important that you decide early and put in early. Don’t be too disappointed if you don’t get it, but at least you have tried. If DS happens to learn music or anything externally, may make sense to include these in your waitlisting application too.

You should put your ds name in the waitlist right after the balloting.


Look at the bright side of it maybe your ds can bring glory to the backup school 6yrs from now in the PSLE. It is their (choice school) lost to ballot out your ds.
