hapydino,
Mrs Ang,
later on will it be a challenge to visit your parents-in-law when u move to the west? given that i gather they may find it too out of the way to drop by your place for visit??
It is a 15 - 20 mins walk from pil's house to mine and if cycle will be shorter. But both of them never step into my house after they know that I am unhappy over the incident. Mil will only come if DH asked. We visit them once a month so it will not be challenge. I have been taking taxis every sat to my parent's house .... broke!! -
Buds, all the bests of luck. You can finally see the lights infront! :celebrate:

Elite KSP Socialites will receive special secret invites...
If i think my tiny neu plc can't fit the pig, the princess, the bronzed
leaves, the choc chip, the ribbon, the penguin, the devil, the pegasus,
the angels.. *pant pant*... then we can ALL do hi-tea together once the
coast is officially clear. What say you?

Mrs Ang,
So no-invitation-no-visit ? So, does your hubby invite them over often?
Wow, only 15-20 minutes walk from your PIL’s place ? Very very convenient for them to pop by if the unhappy incident didn’t take place. -
janet_lee88:
Should be as they didn't visit although so near. When we were in good terms, they will just called to said they are coming. We don't even have a chance to tell them that it is not convenient now. My hubby seldom invite them after the unhappy incident as he knows I prefer not to see their faceMrs Ang,

Mrs Ang,
You are lucky your hubby is understanding.
I explained to mine several times that his dear mother is a different person behind his back…a pity he will never see that other side of her bcos she acts so demure in front of her sons.
I do not see the need to be demure…it’s very pretentious. I used to be tactful with her, but not anymore since it’s a one-way traffic…she is blunt. I still try to tahan, but if she goes overboard, I’ll speak up. -
janet_lee88,
Thanks…I guess my hubby understands as his mother and sisters do it when he was around. He knows that I have been tactful with them before the unhappy incident. Therefore he can’t blame me now. Luckily my mil is not as "cunning" as yours. -
Mrs Ang,
You are lucky your MIL doesn’t have horns and dual personality.
I don’t mince my words with mine here anymore…enough of her nonsense after all these years. Hope she keeps to her words by going to US for good to look after her daughter (something which won’t happen). She’s fond of NATO (talk only). -
