Sorry to hear that you didn't get a place, I have been advised by JWPS that there are 221 within 1km and 4 outside for balloting maybe your friend still consider staying within 1km to 2km

so now just have to go the next phase .. hopefully we can get our next choice which is Pioneer Pri... but at the same time we did consider Xingnan , but its too risky as its only left with 8 places. If let say , we still cant get Pioneer, where will MOE place my child to? out of Jurong area?

im staying at st 65[/quote]Why not you appeal to the principal of JWPS to put your child under waiting list.

May I know how many children you have you may see our MP, Mr Cedric Foo, every Monday 8pm at Blk 665A Jurong West St 64 to appeal.

Last write to MOE to appeal to get a seat in JWP....

I ever thought of all the above when I have 3 children now if I dont get a place in JWP. :lol:

Well my sis did wrote appeal letter to MOE for getting the school she wants few years back but not guarantee they will approve everyone.... opportunity shall be higher if you have 'special reason....'

I am sorry to hear that, but how can your friend get a place when your friend stays 1-2Km, and you are <1Km? Are you referring to the same phase? For balloting under the same phase, the priority goes to <1km>2km, so if your friend can get a place, so should you :? You may want to check and appeal to the school.

Sorry to hear that you didnt get a place in JWPS. FYI, we still have the last chance - Phase 3 before our destiny lays with MOE. Its a first come first serve basis. Hope that we will not get to that phase. Pray hard!! :xedfingers:

Actually, what I understand is after Phase 2Csupp, MOE will then assign those who are still unsuccessful to the schools nearby with vacancies. If you are not happy with the school assigned and have another in mind (with vacancies), then you can try for Phase 3 which is first-come-first-serve basis..
