Bacteria is micro-organism but not fungus and yeast is also micro-organism but it is a fungus.

        Beer is made from fungus.

Both bacteria and fungus have good and bad ones.

        Food Products of fungus
        Fermented wine
        Soy Sauce
        Beer
        Bread

        Food Products of bacteria
        Kimchi
        Cheese
        Yoghurt
        Yakult

Yeast is used in baking bread and making beer, wine and medicines. It is a kind of fungi. As yeast are tiny living things that cannot be seen with our naked eyes, they also belong to micro-organisms.

              I got it from here:

              http://www.slideshare.net/blueroses0805/fungi-and-bacteria-1066237

a summary of research already done for lessons to be taught. If you read all the materials related to these areas, it points back to the same thing except this one is most concise and tabulated.

I don't mind the question but before I answer, is there any reason for suspecting so? 😄

                    Hi All,

I need your help in answering this 2008 P4 Science Qn from Maha Bodhi SA1 Q23 and thank you for your time plus effort.

                    http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3391/3446606457_ce3af7810c.jpg\">

My younger sister interpreted the part marked X as \"seed coat\" and gave her answer as option (1). However, the worksheet's answer is option (2) meaning that the part marked X should be considered as \"seed leaf\" instead.

I think that answer option (2) should be correct as the seedling has already developed roots as seen in the picture. So, the seed coat of the seedling should have wilted and no longer exist at this stage.

Pls advise your thoughts and the most correct answer.
                    😄

Hi Vanilla Cake, seed leaf is correct as per your explanation. I went through the same question with my son 🙂

Hi,Ks2me. It’s just that you sound like a expert and of course if you don’t mind next time can ask you some more science question bcos I’m very lousy for my science and get a "F" for my O’level.

                        Btw, another questions :-
                        WHY DO MUSHROOMS PRODUCE SPORES?
                        Any volunteers pls…
