      carebear:
Learning Japanese is one of my hobbies.

      Another is pets.
I used to have 16 hamsters, now after 2.5 years, only 2 left.
I just adopted 2 guinea pigs.
Animals really teach me alot about life.......
It is also relaxing to watch them.

      :!: I love animals too....esp puppy

but then HDB is too small for it and daytime no one at home..

Plan to have 1 when I grow old... lets say reach age 60 ? 😉

      :celebrate:

        That's alota hamsters!
Anyhoo, they breed very fast and only live for 2-3 years no?

Yup, dwarf hamsters' lifespan is 2-3 years.
        They breed so fast!
Initially the mother gave birth to 4 pups. I separated the father from her, but he was so desperate to get back to the same cage, biting his cage frantically. So i relented, and the next thing i knew, after 18 days, another 9 hamsters were born! I could not bear to part with them, so i reared them all!
        Hamsters are easy pets.
I can't say that for guinea pigs, which require daily change of bedding.

                Me too.
Although DD is only 10 months young.
But she loves to sit with me while I read to her, not aloud just regular speaking tone.
I've dug out my old Famous Five, Secret Seven, Malory Towers, Faraway Tree etc. Although she's probably more suitable for my Noddy books for now.
Enjoy your books and your children, they grow up very fast :celebrate:

Hi jasmineong, you are not the only one "guilty" of reading kid’s books.

I read Grimm Tales in Japanese as i am learning the language.
It’s fun to read children’s books.
I read Charlotte’s Web for the first time to help my DS with his literature.

My choice quite various, can be those books about parenting/upbringing of childrend, 言情小说, 台湾作家-三毛/张曼娟/吴淡如 , 漫画- 朱庸/ 蔡志忠 ...recipes...those books about how to clean/tidy your house with easy/fast way 😛

I borrow those from library, mostly.

Sometimes I also go to Bras Basah Complex, to grab some 2nd books too 😉
