Hi jasmineong, you are not the only one \"guilty\" of reading kid's books.

I read Grimm Tales in Japanese as i am learning the language.
It's fun to read children's books.
I read Charlotte's Web for the first time to help my DS with his literature.
I feel so much better now, here is to the mums who read (childrens lit) :celebrate:

I like Charlotte's Web too..is it a lit book now? For which level?

Ohh, I feel better reading that there are other mums like me..

yes, everywhere must bring book if not feel very 'empty'..

$18!! Oh no...can cry! 😢 I wish they can bring back the old
second-hand bookstores that sell each book for about $1, rental $0.20, I remember I always used to go to one at Serangoon Gardens by this old Indian Uncle, sigh now the rental books are also ex..

        What books do you read?

My choice quite various, can be those books about parenting/upbringing of childrend, čØ€ęƒ…å°čÆ“, å°ę¹¾ä½œå®¶-三毛/å¼ ę›¼åØŸ/吓淔如 , 漫画- 朱庸/ 蔔志忠 ...recipes...those books about how to clean/tidy your house with easy/fast way šŸ˜›

I borrow those from library, mostly.

Sometimes I also go to Bras Basah Complex, to grab some 2nd books too šŸ˜‰

Oops, I cant read the words in Chinese, my chinese has flown out of the window since I stopped learning in after jc haha...how is the selection at Bras Basah, I used to like Sunny bookstore but they are not too cheap.

Other than parenting, I like to surf the Net, listen to music, chat on MSN and watch programmes on Youtube.

Yup, sometimes feel like they want to \"chop\" carrot. šŸ˜‰

I do bargain with them for cheaper price... you know, they gave me 90cents discount... :stupid: then I go for another shop
