I have a SIL who can be nasty too…out of the blue one April Fool’s Day, she called me just to create trouble and I didn’t even do anything.

救命啊 ! Thought it was an April Fool’s Day joke but it wasn’t. Got fed-up and sms-ed her back to ask what went wrong with HER !!! For nothing gave me so much sh!@ with so many crazy sms-es.

From then on, I stay ARMS length and MILES away from her. Scared of her. Told hubby about it, since I think he should know.

Haha....I also have crazy SILs. One called me to talk about my prob with my MIL and etc. The other SIL wrote me a email which I forwarded to my DH and told him that I didn't know your sister \"miss\" u so much. Looking at their behaviour when we visited PIL once a mth, their \"misses\" don't carry any meaning or love in it.

There was once she told me wanted to divorce BIL. Talked to BIL and he told me they had problems, told him to discuss and talk things out. He is a nice guy. Know what happened after that ? That crazy woman called me on my mobile and said I had no integrity :x OMG, what the hell did I do wrong.

i have told my HB right from day 1 too.. and reminded him every now and then..

                      buds:
I too thought the same but i relented and sacrificed for the love for my
husband... in consideration of his dilemma... in the pride of how i had
been raised by my family well enough to respect my elders & understand
                      their silver journey.

The sad part was definitely that he failed to see through what i've done
to make sure we are together as a family... no matter where we were.
When things happen at home, he'd just say dun care where we live right
as long as there's a place to live... a roof over our heads. I thought it is
supposed to be a home where family is... a sense of belonging... where
we can be happy together, but to solve or rather dismiss the issues at
hand which he thinks are petty or rather he tries not to dwell on them...
he says it can just be a house where everybody lives. 😞

                      Dear Buds

I chanced upon this topic and got interested in your posts. I must say your fortitude and patience over the past 10 years is more than admirable. You have been an excellant DIL. Your PILs should worship the ground you walk upon but instead treated you so badly.

I will pray for you and hope that you will have the much deserved peace and happiness in your new home.
                      :ugogirl:

                        Hi buds,

Your pregnancy and the post-natal stage is the best time for your parents to come into the picture. Your hubby would definitely know by now what post-natal blues are. Hope your hubby will ask your parents to look after you. Take care.
Oh you won't believe when i tell you that hubs thinks that post natal
blues are something i pushed myself into. Think too much until stress.
It can be something that can be avoided. Choice of care for me would
be my decision ultimately. Of course i would go with the person i am most
comfortable with and whom i trust can take care of me sincerely with utmost
                        love in her heart.

He offered to ask once but i said no thank you immediately. :siam:
