      It's called G......E......P (hope I'm not stressing you 😉 ).

Thanks for \"looking my dd so up\".

      Now, my turn to ask....

pardon me, what has GEP got to do with parents being stressed? Hehe. 😉

Parents are stressed because they WANT their child to be in GEP. I am not stressed lah cos I will let God decide on my girls' giftedness. GEP is just a programme, but every child is gifted in their own unique ways.

Furthermore, besides ACS and perhaps St. Hilda's, which nearby GEP primary school is founded in christian values? None. The whole idea of getting my dd into PH was its firm foundation in christian values and stability in achieving good academic results yearly. I will not trade PH for another school. We believe that it can provide my dd with a conducive learning environment. She has blended in nicely already. She's going to stay put in PH till PSLE, and won't be affected by The Move. Different story after PSLE, but as long as she's still a child, we'll try to keep her in an environment that she could grow in her faith.

      😄 😄

:goodpost: My reasons for PH are exactly as you've mentioned above.

You're also right about me seeing your dd so up. My tongue-in-cheek suggestion of using GEP to avoid the relocation at P6 for your dd is not really that tongue-in-cheek you know .

          Hi E3,

So it's 2014 that Pei Hwa is moving to temporary school ?
We all don't wish one another's kids to be affected by the move during PSLE. Let's pray hard lah, but 2016 is the year ALL primary schools have to go single-session. So, it looks like we can't escape one way or the other.

may be the holding location is better than now leh ??

or they build a grand new one some where and relocate forever ?

I am looking forward to this but chances of not moving back is very low. Believe the sch wants to be as near to the Church as possible.

Pei Hwa present premise is convenient and school is really beautiful…I wouldn’t like the idea of moving away. Just looking at it gives one a ‘wow’ feeling.

I just printed out Term 4 calendar from school website.

Someone from MOE just called me. She told me that no announcement was made regarding relocation to temporary premise…confirmed with school before calling me.

I chose PH for the same reason, with one more point.
It is the ONLY Christian school which offer HCL.
Thought it is a lot easier for kids to pick up English than Chinese now.

                  Wow salute PHPPS.

Just found out from KSP Academic Excellent Primary School Ranking that Pei Hwa and MGS are the only two non-GEP School that made it to the top 10.

After the GEP schools, take in some of their top students in GEP Selection, they can still emerge strongly … They surpasses ACPS and Henry Park.

                  Well done!!

The principal is trying to groom a top PSLE scholar from Pei Hwa…it’s a matter of time. Nanyang ex principal finally waited for one before she moved to Nanyang Girls.

You meant the present principal will be transfer to NGS. If yes, when?

Let me rephrase if I understood janet correctly. She meant to say the ex-principal of Nanyang Primary who is the current Principal of Nanyang Girls High managed to groom a PSLE top scorer two years ago before she left Nanyang Primary. Right? 😄
