      The Alternative Story

      Herbie:
Hi TAS, I hv the following qn.

the boy took some money fr the drawer. His mother walked in.
ans: No soomer had the boy taken some money from the drawer, his mother walked in.

my cousin and __ went swimming at the Wild Park.
      ans is me or I
      please advise. Tx
      Hi Herbie,

      QN1:

For 'No sooner', it must be followed by 'than' and
there is no comma in the sentence.

'No sooner' is used to compare 2 instances, hence 'than' is used.

      Answer should be:

No sooner had the boy taken some money from the drawer
      than his mother walked in.

If 'scarely' is used, it would go with 'when'

      Example:

The boy had scarcely taken some money from
the drawer when his mother walked in.

      QN2:

For the second question, the answer is 'I'

      - 'I' is used when it is used as a subject- the person does
      the action

      Eg:

My father and I went running. ('I' - doing the action of running)

-'me' is used when it is used as an object- the person does
      not do the action

      Eg:

My father brought my brother and me to the park('me' receives
the action of the father's bringing and does not do the action of 'bringing' himself)

                Hi TAS,

If my child is already at your centre, do we need to pre-order? Or would
you set aside some books for us to get?
