My French colleagues eat the soft boiled eggs. They make a small hole on the top of the eggshell, then use a small spoon to scoop it out. Very dainty, not like how we eat it.

At home: With a loud slurp and a gulp. I will even lick the plate clean.

Outside: Daintily with a spoon. NO satisfaction at all!
        I like it too lol

              Not so bad lah.
Different strokes for different folks mah.
In fact, some of my expatriate colleagues have learnt to slurp their breakfast eggs our way.
Although I still use a spoon to eat mine
              It's because I'm a clumsy eater.
If I'm not careful, I will have eggs on me.
I'm that goondu who is always in her crisp white shirt when everyone suggests going for laksa during lunchtime.
And then after lunch, use wet tissue to clean shirt

I seldom eat nowadays cause now got competitors (my kids)!

Anyway, used to savour it slowly with soya sauce and lots of pepper. Once clear, will pour \"teh tarik\" and slurp. Yummy and not wasted!

                        hquek:

Chin mee chin has the most consistent soft boiled eggs I know - and with their luncheon meat bun...it's a deathly combination that is oh so worth it.
                        :hi5: hquek

That's where my grandpa used to bring me as a little girl to eat kaya toast with eggs and milo. He used to bring me there every Saturday

It sure brings back wonderful memories. Sometimes, I'll bring my girls there to share mommy's childhood past. The only thing about Chin Mee Chin is their ventilation. Can be very stuffy and sweaty on hot days. 😐
