can anyone recommend good tuina si fu...my lower back/ hip area will have quite acute pain when I stand too long or walk too long...
Where do you stay? I know of one good one in Yishun area. Opened last year/early this year I think. Heard Pan Ling Ling (the local actress) and some of her colleagues/ family members go there quite often. The tuina sifu is from China. My helper complained of pains in one of her arms/hands and I sent her to an Acupuncturist 2 times. No use. The pain is still about the same and didn't improve at all. Then was recommended this tuina sifu. She was there the first time and she can feel the difference of the after effect, but we were also told that the pain arised from her childhood injury, that's why she felt so painful. Luckily, after we bought her there the 2nd time, her condition improved a lot and didn't complain about pain anymore. -

Hi Jennifer,
The TCM which you recommend in Beauty World, does he or she see adults too? Is he the only TCM there? -

Hi,
My son is seeing a TCM dr at Chong Hua Hospital. He was given the black liquid, which i need to steam to evaporate the alcohol content, for his cough.
I am having difficulting getting him to drink 10ml of it at one go. My mom and maid normally have to restrain him and force it down his throat. Needless to say, there is much struggle and tears…I was thinking this can’t go on 3x daily everyday!?
Any one has good ideas on how to get kids to swallow TCM meds without needing to resort to force?
Pls share. Thanks. -
Hi
I’ll like to recommend Dr Lim at Bukit Batok Ave 8. The TCM clinic is called Guang Ji. The doc is kind and very patient and I find the med is effective esp for cough with phlegm.
His acupuncture is very good. Usu long queue with adults and children but worth the wait. -

The Chinese physician is Liu Yishi (Physician Liu). There's also another physician, Gao Xijie (Ms Gao). Too bad I stay too far from Yishun, otherwise I'll go there more often.

Although they operate daily, you must call them to make an appointment. They entertain walk-ins but you may have to wait quite long when they are busy.
Let me know your experience with them. ; - D
