MM Lee has lost his life partner. I feel very sad for him, bcos she is the one behind his success. A truly intelligent woman.
It’s unfortunate that MM is in the hospital then. I hope he will be able to get over his grief, although it is going to be very difficult bcos she has always been there for him. From his daughter’s articles, we got to know more about MM and his dedication to his wife. He’s truly a wonderful husband. -
Behind every successful man there is a wise woman - Mrs Lee is one of them.
My condolences to the Lee Family; especially MM Lee. -
Dear Lee family, wishing you the very best of luck to go on with life, and praying that Mrs. Lee's spirit will R.I.P, and that she may always be remembered by us.
Taking an excerpt from the Bible, she had run the good race, she had fought the good fight.
You have been a guiding pillar for all of us in Singapore, and it would be a tough job finding ssomeone with as much courage, determination, and bravery as you.
I pray that MM Lee and his family will be able to handle the loss, and my deepest condolences to them. :sad:

She drafted the water agreement in the Separation Agreement. Wow.
A truly intelligent woman who fully supported her husband in his course and thus changed the history of an entire nation. Not for her to carve her own career and be in the lime-light. In her own words, she "walked 2 steps behind" her husband in public. Her devotion is truly touching and worthy for all to emulate.

MM Lee has always been my 'hero', so I feel very saddened by his wife's passing. After all, these two very important persons have shaped Singapore into what it is today. Without them, we and our next generations wouldn't be enjoying the peace, security and prosperity of the nation now. I have deep respects for them.
Rest in peace, Mrs Lee. And I pray MM Lee will recover soon from his chest infection, and find the strength to go on without his soulmate and beloved wife of 63 yrs.
