She drafted the water agreement in the Separation Agreement. Wow.
A truly intelligent woman who fully supported her husband in his course and thus changed the history of an entire nation. Not for her to carve her own career and be in the lime-light. In her own words, she "walked 2 steps behind" her husband in public. Her devotion is truly touching and worthy for all to emulate.

MM Lee has always been my 'hero', so I feel very saddened by his wife's passing. After all, these two very important persons have shaped Singapore into what it is today. Without them, we and our next generations wouldn't be enjoying the peace, security and prosperity of the nation now. I have deep respects for them.
Rest in peace, Mrs Lee. And I pray MM Lee will recover soon from his chest infection, and find the strength to go on without his soulmate and beloved wife of 63 yrs. -

I hope MM is able to get over his grief, even though he is mentally prepared for this. Without Mrs Lee, he would not have been able to build a nation. We have to thank God for her.
