Any idea what to include in the DSA portfolio other than certificates and awards?

teachers testimonial and CCA teacher's testimonial.
must prepare copies of past years' school results also.
For art, can put in your art pieces in the portfolio.
For writing, if you have published any books. articles, you can also put that in.

Is it the primary school briefing or the secondary school briefing ? It may be one of thse \"good to have\" items.

I remembered that my son's school teacher asked the class whoever need the testimonial to let her know early so that she could prepare them.

Yes, some school required that last year, such as ACI and RV. So if you are applying these you will need to ask your teacher to help write one.

Thanks MdmKs and lizawa, Son’s form teacher has replied that testi is not required but we may want to submit the pupil monitoring forms given in Tems1/3 of the last 3 years as part of his portfolio.

1. ACS - no open house
2. DHS - 30 May
3. HCI - 16 May
4. NUSHS - over already 18 Apr
5. NYGH - 23 May
6. RI/RGS - 23 May

And for School of Science Tech, my info is May 23. Not very sure whether it is correct.
Has no info for RV.

I know of this centre called Achievers Learning Centre at Jurong East (65697773) conducting DSA courses in the last few years. Seems to be the only one in Singapore can do it. Also quite successful in placing P6 kids to the top IP schools. Some of you may want to find out more…

It won’t be the only centre for too long. Within the next year, more will be sprouting across the island.
