    HDB Flats --- Are they becoming less affordable?

      I had my mouth open for a long while when I read that too! $1.1 million!! And Shun fu is also not too convenient in terms of public transport like having a MRT station too. Its the cost of a condo even one in some of the more central areas!

      Okay lah, Shunfu now has Marymount (circle line). Not too bad.
      It's near the Thomson/Upper Thomson stretch of eateries as well.
      I love the tranquil north πŸ˜„

        though it said high floor, but how high in that area? about 12 is the highest I am afraid...and over 30 yrs old.... 😐

          Blk 315 not the nearest to Circle Line. If you turn into Shunfu Rd from Marymount Rd, 315 is on the right.


          The blocks nearest to MRT are 301 and 302.

                It is more than 1600 sq ft. And it has 2 living rooms, separated by a bedroom. The inner living room has privacy. Its balcony is very very long. I like the design.

                  i saw the photos once, v european style with 4 poster beds.. and the inner living room is filled with book shelves to the ceiling with big comfy armchairs, dunno how to explain, but quite tastefully done..

                  1 main door on the lower level and 1 main door on the upper level, according to her, difficult to find back such units.. and yes, highest level.. they have been renting out as both HB and wife work in HK and now decided to cash in by selling.. kaypoh me called her to ask her daughter to sell when this news came out and guess my 'paiseh' :oops: when i was told its her daughter's unit lor..

                  the daugther now bought a 3rm resale in Tiong Bahru to cash in the rental as proceeds go into CPF = cannot touch..

                    Dont know about price but they’re definitely getting smaller, my family’s exec in bt panjang is a measly 130 sqm…

                      another example of people who don't need the flat, just buy and rent out, don't put all the blame on PR

                        What's more, the flat is not new. The report said that flats nearby this flat did not fetch as much.

                        Exactly, the estate is quite old! I know of a townhouse in the north which only fetched $1.2 million. There are 2 swimming pool areas, with a total of 5 pools and 5 levels in the townhouse and it was almost the same price as this HUDC flat. :shock:
