I heard that 3/4 of CH3 are going for the selection test. :!:
This is small no. compared to NYPS in which training starts in P2. -

Any idea how many CH3 pupils passed the screening test?
My boy's FT carried out lessons as usual. Only 3 pupils in the class are going for the selection test next week.
7 pupils in Ho3 will go for the next round of test. Heard that top2 classes of Nan Hua , 50 pupils were selected for the next round.
Wonder how many in FA3 are going ?
The no will definitely be higher in GEP schools because the teachers know the format of the paper and the depth of knowledge to be tested very well as compare to non-GEP schools. -
Jennifer:
Really :!: My son also came home telling me that the F word is used frequently in class. His classmates are not active learners too. I've got to advise him on the right and wrong attitudes this term...not to imply all the students are like that though, just the few names I always hear from him (those who give problems to teachers). I hope he can work harder and do well for his SA2 to get into a better class next year.janet_lee88:
近朱者赤近墨者黑.
This is very true, esp in this year Hu3. So much so that the CL teacher is not interested in teaching too.
My boy got into fights this year becos of \"playful\" children who take his things or tease him. Some pupils also use the F word and gesture  -

yes..
When the classes were smaller (like only 4), I found that ds came back with more work done. But nowadays with bigger classes I realised that he has less coverage.

But still, I observed that he is learning things from the ctr. At this stage, I'm happy to continue as long as he's learning something useful. At p3, my expectation will be higher and I'll re-evaluate the available options again when that time comes. -

I thought Hu is the 4th best out of 9 classes. So std should be considered as slightly average right? How come liddat?janet_lee88:

It is very misleading to say HU is the xth best class out of 9 classes.
In SA1, the 7th class position pupil only scored 70% overall aggregate.
