Hi, if there were 26 cookies, how can it be shared equally among 9 children? I thought it's a guess and check question. My answer is 18 cos' I thought each child will get 2 cookies if shared among 9 to share among 13 children, we need 8 more cookies. Correct me if I'm wrong.
      Hi

I left the answer as 26 per children earlier.

      sorry, should be 18*13 = 234 or 26*9 = 234

      The answer is 234 cookies

      Best wishes

Pls help me with this question :

              http://postimage.org/image/13dlu9omc/
              Dist AD = 2m, Dist DE = 5/8 m

              Dist AB = Dist BC = 1/4 m

              So, Dist CD = Dist AD - Dist AC = 1(1/2) m

Then, Dist BE = Dist DE + Dist BC + Dist CD
              = 5/8 + 1/4 + 1(1/2) = 19/8 m = 2(3/8) m

Try labelling the respective lengths on the diagram and it'll be clearer šŸ™‚

Thanks, i kept thinking of converting the fraction into cm. šŸ™‚

I know this is a very simple question.

                      Q) A can of orange juice is 300ml. What is the minimum number of cans needed to fill up a container with a capacity of 2 litres?

                      Ans: 7

Isn't \"6\" the minimum? My kid argued that \"7\" cans would be overspilled already!

                      Appreciate some clarification.

                        Hi

Use 200ml from the seventh can.

                        Best wishes
