      Section G: Grammar Cloze

We stopped (33) ___ our tracks and turned around.

I had always prided myself (38) ____ being the teachers' pet.

      My answers are:

      33) on (M)
      38) for (G)

      Worksheet answers are:

      33) in (K)
      38) on (B)

      Please advise which are correct.

      TIA.
      Worksheet answers are correct.

Its is always \"in your tracks\" and \"I pride myself on being something\"

I think both are perfectly acceptable. I like your DD's answer for its brevity.

                        It should be

After the transformation of the sentence, we should still be referring the subjects/objects in the same manner as the original.
